Cut Flowers

Did you know that seventy percent of the cut flowers sold in the U.S. are imported from Latin America? If you want to support the local industry, we have several flower growers right here in gorgeous Prince George’s County.

So, why buy local flowers?

According to the Maryland Cut Flower Association, local flowers last up to three times as long as flowers shipped internationally! There are other perks, too, such as stronger scents, brighter colors, and in many cases, less pesticide and herbicide residue.

In addition to reducing the carbon footprint from shipping refrigerated flowers long distances, buying local flowers gives you the opportunity to support your local economy and develop relationships with your local growers. Contact one of our superb growers below.
