Buy Local Challenge
The Buy Local Challenge was created by the Southern Maryland Agricultural Development Commission and has since become a statewide program. The Challenge encourages all Marylanders to eat at least one locally grown or raised product each day of the Buy Local Challenge Week, which is always the last full week of July.
There are many ways to participate in the Buy Local Challenge - visit one of our farm stands (link), farmers markets (link), retail outlets (link) or cook up something fresh and tasty from your CSA!
The Buy Local Pledge: "I pledge to eat at least one thing from a local farm every day during Buy Local Week."
