Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
When you join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), you are essentially buying a farm share. CSA members pay for a season’s worth of veggies in advance so that farmers have operating capital. Throughout the season, members receive a weekly (generally) box of produce. Some CSA shares are delivered directly to your home, and others must be picked up from the farm or some other designated location. Many CSAs only offer produce, but farms are giving their shareholders the option of purchasing a share that includes eggs, meat, seafood, dairy, baked goods, fresh flowers, and/or other farm products from their own farm or vetted partnering farms.
Support your local food system by subscribing for a share with one of the CSA farms below.
