ECO City Tamale Workshop

In the Southwest and for many Mexican-American families, Christmas time means tamale-time.

Join us and learn to make Tamales Oaxaca style from scratch. Tamales are delicious, freezer friendly and can be done with a variety of fillings. 

We will be making Chicken Mole Tamale and Seasonal Vegetables Tamale with Salsa Verde. Each participant will take home a dozen tamales to serve at your next event. 

Instructor: Kiki Hamilton is a resident of Mount Rainier and has been in the culinary profession for 10yrs. For 5 of those year Kiki worked at Por Que No, a Oaxacan restaurant in Portland Oregon.
