Produce & Herbs
Prince George’s County is home to a variety of produce farms ranging from micro-greens and culinary herbs to berries, okra, and tomatoes. We are fortunate to have a variety of ethnic communities with unique culinary interests and tastes in the County. As a result, producers have diversified over the years to grow unique, fresh products for these niche markets.
In addition, many of our produce farms work with food banks, the health department, the Prince George’s County Food Equity Council, and other community groups to get fresh, local produce to residents with food access barriers.
C&E Farm offers summer and fall seasonal events, a petting farm, pick your own blackberries, and pony and hayrides. The venue is available for parties and private events. The farm specializes in ethnic produce, including callaloo and sweet potato greens.
